Mini Six: Ape-men Templates

So if Sorcerer's Skull can give stats out for Apes in a 5e world, I'd like to step up for my other top gaming system: Open D6 / Mini Six. Here are a few racial templates you can apply.


Chimpanzee

Brief: You come from a lineage of doctors, technicians, and citizens of Ape City.

Attribute Dice: 12D

Skill Dice: 6D

Might: 1D / 4D

Agility: 1D / 4D

Wit: 1D / 4D

Charm: 1D / 4D

Perk: Climbing: You gain Athletics (Climbing) Specialization for free at the start of play, do not spend additional skill dice into Climbing. Also, on a failed Climbing roll, you gain an automatic re-roll to stabilize yourself.


Gorilla

Brief: You are a member of the security and military caste of Ape City. All of the great martial heroes, the brightest generals of Ape legend come from a Gorilla lineage.

Attribute Dice: 12D

Skill Dice: 6D

Might: 2D / 5D

Agility: 1D / 4D

Wit: 1D / 3D

Charm: 1D / 4D

Perk: Natural Weapon (Bash): Your fists can break men with a single blow. Add +3 to Brawl checks for attacks when using natural weapons and +3 to Might checks when determining damage from a Brawl roll.

Like a damn, dirty boss
Orangutan

Brief: You are of the leadership and administration caste of Ape City. The Lawgiver, whose writings and philosophy inspired Ape Culture was an orangutan.

Attribute Dice: 12D

Skill Dice: 6D

Might: 1D / 3D

Agility: 1D / 4D

Wit: 2D / 5D

Charm: 1D / 4D

Lore Keeper: Gain an automatic specialization in Lore (Subject) the Subject can be of Player or GM's choice and can include things such as Law, History, Religion, Geography, Science. Do not spend extra skill dice on this subject at start of play. On a failed roll the character gains an automatic re-roll to try and recall a fact tied to the lore.

  1. Eu colocaria o 1D-3D em Agility para os orangutans, ao invés de Might. - I put the 1D/3D in Agility to orangutan, instead in Might.
