1974 Style: General Traits

The following are traits that are tacked onto character creation. At 1st level a character of 1974 Style chooses one of these traits to help customize their character. During the course of play a GM might allow a character to gain more traits.

Strong (1/day): Character gains a +1 to d20 rolls involving tasks that require the use of raw power (lifting a fallen object, forcing a door open, bench pressing a Goblin and then tearing him in half). Once per day a 'Strong' character can roll with the Advantage on a skill check or a melee attack.

Adroit (1/day): Character gains a +1 to d20 rolls involving tasks that require the use of raw reflexes (catching a fallen object) and a +1 to Reflex based saves (dodging poison darts). Once per day the character may roll with the Advantage on a reflex based skill check or a range attack.

Tough (1/day): Character gains a +1 to d20 rolls involving tasks that require physical fitness or health. This can include +1 to Fortitude based saves (absorbing poison with little ill effect) or holding breath, resisting the effects of cold. One per day the character can gain the Advantage on a Fortitude based d20 roll, or use their talent to regain d6 hit points.

Astute (1/day): Character gains a +1 to d20 rolls involving tasks that require exercising mental capacity. This can include a +1 to Will based saves, a +1 to Knowledge based d20 rolls and the like. Once per day a character can gain the Advantage of a Knowledge check or Will save, or regain a previously used spell point.

Charming (1/day): Character gains a +1 to d20 rolls involving social tasks that require a fair degree of charm and decorum. This +1 can include tasks such as: entertaining guests, fast talking person, resisting Fear. Once per day a Charming trait character can roll with the Advantage when making a charm check to influence someone, they can also spend their talent automatically changing someone's attitude one step.

Perceptive (1/day): Character gains a +1 to d20 rolls involving perception. This includes sight, sound, touch, taste, or smell. Once per day the character can roll with Advantage on a senses check.
