Mini-Six: Fantasy Race Templates


I admit, I've probably done this post before, but it seems like a good idea to summon an oldie but a goodie for public consumption. Below are some racial templates for Mini Six, done in the style of Breachworld.

Dwarf

Attribute Dice: 12D
Skill Dice: 7D

Might: 2D / 5D
Agility: 1D / 3D
Wit: 1D / 4D
Charm: 1D / 4D

Move: 10

Racial Perks: Stonemastery: +2 to any Skill that deals in Stone or Metals. This could include such things as: Search checks involving stone, Smithing, and Climbing.

Racial Complications: None



Elves

Attribute Dice: 12D
Skill Dice: 6D

Might: 1D / 3D
Agility: 2D / 5D
Wit: 1D / 4D
Charm: 1D / 4D

Move: 15

Racial Perks: Sure Shot: +1 on all Ranged Attacks.

Racial Complications: None



Gnome

Attribute Dice: 12D
Skill Dice: 7D

Might: 1D / 3D
Agility: 1D / 4D
Wit: 2D / 5D
Charm: 1D / 4D

Move: 10

Racial Perks: Small: +1D Stealth & Dodge vs. Man-size or larger Creatures.

Racial Complications: Small: -5 on Might-based skill checks, Might-based damage rolls, Block & Parry. These penalties do not apply when Resisting Damage, Stamina checks, or Healing. These penalties do not apply when Gnomes fight Small or smaller creatures.

Halfling

Attribute Dice: 12D
Skill Dice: 7D

Might: 1D / 3D
Agility: 1D / 4D
Wit: 1D / 4D
Charm: 1D / 4D

Move: 10

Racial Perks: Small: +1D Stealth & Dodge vs. Man-size or larger Creatures.

Racial Complications: Small: -5 on Might-based skill checks, Might-based damage rolls, Block & Parry. These penalties do not apply when Resisting Damage, Stamina checks, or Healing. These penalties do not apply when Halflings fight Small or smaller creatures.

Orc

Attribute Dice: 12D
Skill Dice: 6D

Might: 2D / 5D+1
Agility: 1D / 4D
Wit: 1D / 3D+1
Charm: 1D / 3D+1

Move: 15

Racial Perks: Natural Weapons (Light): +3 to Brawl when using a combination of Strength and Sharp Teeth. +3 to Might when rolling for damage using this natural weapon.

Racial Complication: Outsider: Suffers not quite from infamy, but a reputation of being uncouth and rowdy. New towns an Orc may enter might bestow a -2 penalty on Charm checks until the Orc proves themselves different from popular conception.
