Brief: Ursine are a bipedal hybrid race of humanoid and bear. From their bear parent they gain a muzzled face, claws, and a thick furry body with hues that range from shades of brown or black to black-and-white spotting to pure white. Their build makes them larger than Humans, but shorter than true bears. It is speculated this allows Ursine to stand upright instead of being quadrupeds. Their human side also gives them opposable thumbs to operate equipment.

-Bar is a footsoldier bound to the Pleiadian Protectorate, a large protectorate organization under the command of the Pleiadians (aka the Nords). The Pleiadians have a habit of absorbing and adding protectorate troops under its umbrella organization. This includes the Ursines.
-He is a Loyal figure to his squadmates. The campaign Bar Greymoor exists in is one of the Pleiadian control and administration of a backwater world called 'Terra' that has been liberated from its Tyrannical one-world government. He, like other soldiers, have to now deal with Terran civilians, insurgents, and auxiliaries.
