-Fordir Truehammer is a Dwarven Paladin who is from the North, but is currently living in the port side town of Seaside within the Borderlands. He is something of an aged Dwarf, not quite an elder, but his beard has long turned to silver. He is a mid-tier Paladin of the Emperor and is dedicated to the tenets of loyalty, holiness, and service.

-His Detect Evil works as 'Detect Arcana'. However, his version of the spell detects supernatural evil that might be near or hidden in plain sight. He cannot deduce the moral core of mortals (thus men off ill intent do not show up to him) but he can detect supernatural evil that is disguised as a mortal (such as a demon using an illusion or a man possessed by a demon). Generally there is a Faith vs. Spirit roll to see if the Dwarf can pierce the illusion conjured by such foulness.

-Fordir's presence in the Borderlands is his personal goal of finding the Highforge Clan Hall hidden within the hills and swamps of the region. Among the Dwarven Clans, the Highforge had become the 'lost clan' as their hall vanished during the fires of the Great War. Now as hostilities have ceased Fordir has been charged to learn what has happened and to do so before groups such as the Exiles or non-Dwarven treasure hunters find the hall.

-His roll could be that of a player-character who could serve as the start of a campaign. He could also be used as a NPC/Patron for the players to be hired and locate the hall.
