- Fiona is a Dwarven fighter and heir to the Thanedom of Alfi. The Alfi Highlands is a Dwarven controlled region with major resources in ore, sheep, barley, and some cattle. Dwarves from both the Hill and Mountain clans have interest in various parts of the region, all under the protection of the Mountainous Alfstone family of Ironpeak Citadel. Fiona inherits her title from her father, Fandelf Alfstone.
- As a Dwarf, Fiona has experience with both axe and the flame belching arquebus, as it was through the discovery by Dwarves and their Gnomish cousins the secrets of red powder. Fiona fights with both axe and shield, although if she has time to prepare, Fiona will often begin firing an arquebus ball at a distant target before grabbing axe and shield to close the distance.
- Fiona has a stout, muscular build from her times spent as a mining within Ironpeak Lode beneath the citadel. She also has an interest in gaming. Like many Dwarves, her gaming interests include dice and dominoes that are carved from pieces of stone and at times decorated with gem chips. For instance, the pips in Fiona's dice are decorated by amethyst chips.
- Fiona was created by the For Gold & Glory system, which is a retro clone of AD&D 2nd edition. She was made out of the standard rules found in the book with little deviation. She's obviously fit for a game that includes firearms (which are listed in the book, although it is emphasized that firearms should only be included at GM's discretion). By my discretion, I'm fine with firearms in my fantasy.
